A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to provide essential support to middle school students. The position is contract-based for a full semester, located in Seattle, WA, focusing on delivering speech and language services within an educational setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for middle school students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to facilitate student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student performance and services provided
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a multidisciplinary approach to student success
Qualifications
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience working in schools, preferably at the middle school level
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and evidence-based intervention strategies
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Valid state licensure or credentials required for school-based practice
